Job Overview

We are seeking a Café Team Member to join us at our stunning Osborne Café overlooking the Severn in Clevedon . This role involves preparing a variety of food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming community- focused environment. Are you passionate about delivering high-quality service, possess good organisational skills, and enjoy working independently in a fantastic setting. Then this job is for you.

Previous experience in a café or food service environment is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks such as milkshakes.
Opening and Closing the café (excluding cashing up)
Assist customers with menu selections and take orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods in accordance with safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Manage cash register operations, including handling payments accurately using cash or card transactions.
Restock supplies and organise stock areas to ensure smooth daily operations.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold food safety standards at all times.

We are looking for someone to work 3 shifts a week, as well as cover holidays when required.

Pay: £13.90 per hour
