Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This energetic position offers an opportunity to be an essential part of a fast-paced hospitality setting, supporting chefs and serving staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in meal assembly or ingredient handling.
Follow proper safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and operating dishwashing machinery.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours.
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
Support the overall cleanliness and sanitation standards of the kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Reliable team player with good communication skills.
Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices is a plus.
A positive attitude and willingness to support the culinary team in various tasks related to food service.
