ICT Security Analyst - ICT & Digital Services
Based: Hybrid working – initially during probationary period you will be required to work 3 days in the office at Memorial House in Coalville with 2 days working from home. Following the 6-month probationary period this will then change to an average of 2 days in the office at Memorial House in Coalville with an average of 3 days working from home.
Hours: 35 hours per week working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm to be agreed with line manager.
Salary: £44,506 - £49,451 per annum (ICT RFJ 7)
The role
We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for an ICT Security Analyst to strengthen our cyber security posture and protect the systems and data that underpin our housing services.
The successful candidate will work closely with teams across the organisation to monitor, detect and respond to security threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information assets.
Reporting to the ICT Operations Manager, you will monitor security tools and alerts, investigate incidents, and carry out vulnerability assessments across our Microsoft 365 and Azure environment. You will present security risks, trends and recommendations using reports and dashboards, ensuring accessibility to non-technical stakeholders. You will support security awareness across the organisation, contribute to audits and compliance activity, and offer recommendations for continuous improvement of our security controls and processes.
About you
You will have extensive experience of security monitoring and incident response, along with experience working with SIEM platforms, endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, and email security solutions. You'll be proficient in securing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments (including Entra ID, Intune, Purview and Defender) and have experience with vulnerability management tools and frameworks.
With a background in threat analysis and risk assessment, you'll have a solid working knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as Cyber Essentials, NIST or ISO 27001, alongside an understanding of UK GDPR and data protection requirements.

Qualifications
Educated to A level. Degree or equivalent is desirable.
Azure certifications and cyber security qualification are essential for the role.
