Full job description

Hours:

· Monday to Friday, typically 09:30 – 18:00hrs

· Out of hours including weekend & Bank Holiday cover split between the operations team

· (hours may vary depending on business needs)

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Entry-Level Import/Export Agent to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to begin or continue a career in logistics and potentially sales supporting the business development manager. You will play a key role in supporting the movement of goods across the glove while ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations via Road, Air & Courier.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process import/export documentation
Liaise with clients and carriers
Ensure compliance with international regulations across the globe
Monitor shipments and keep accurate records of import/export activities
Ensure customers are kept informed of the status of their goods

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with IT systems (Microsoft Office, outlook, excel and word)
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs is helpful but not required – full training will be provided
Full and valid UK driving licence, with access to your own transport.
