Job Overview
Penrith Tool Hire is looking for a hands on, reliable individual to join our friendly team. This varied role will see you working on our busy sales/hire desk, assisting customers with hiring equipment, as well as maintaining our hire fleet when it’s returned.
Key responsibilities:
Serving customers in person and over the phone
Using our computerised hire system (full training provided)
Washing down, cleaning, and carrying out basic repairs on returned equipment
Helping to keep the workshop and yard tidy and organised
Providing a friendly, helpful service always
About You
Practical with a mechanical background and an interest in electrics (preferred)
Physically fit and happy to get hands-on with equipment
Drivers licence preferred but not essential
Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own
Reliable, with a ‘can do’ attitude and a focus on great customer service
Comfortable learning a new computer system
Flexible – hours can be adapted to suit but must include Fridays and Mondays
Would also suit someone retired or semi-retired looking for a varied active role
