Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Full Time Employed Dog Groomer to join our high working team . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a diverse range of canine clients, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing throughout the grooming process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about welfare and customer service to develop their skills within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to client specifications and breed standards To a high quality.
Handle dogs safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during grooming procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of grooming equipment and work area to uphold hygiene standards Including deep cleaning.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and aftercare advice.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of grooming tools and equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience in dog grooming or a related field; veterinary experience or animal care background is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing during grooming sessions.
Compassionate attitude towards animals with a genuine interest in their wellbeing.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekdays 9 - 5 and two weekends a month required (days off subbed into the week) . This position offers an engaging career path for animal lovers committed to delivering exceptional pet care services in a friendly setting.

Pay: From £25,380.00 per year
