Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Leading to Junior Broker

Salary: £25,000–£27,500 base (DOE) | £50,000 OTE
Location: Colchester (On-site)
Start Date: September 2026

Following the successful launch of our Colchester office, we’re continuing to grow and are expanding our Sales Development team. This is a key entry-level role within the business, supporting our Junior Brokers and wider sales function.

The Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for business owners exploring funding options. You’ll work through internal data, identify qualified opportunities, and introduce suitable prospects to our Junior Broker team.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in sales or financial services. High performers with the right attitude and consistency will have a clear progression path into a Junior Broker position.

Key Responsibilities

Make 120+ outbound calls per day or achieve 2+ hours of talk time
Identify and qualify genuine funding opportunities
Accurately log and manage all leads within the CRM
Record clear, concise notes on each client’s requirements
Allocate opportunities to the most appropriate broker
Book and transfer qualified appointments confidently
Execute targeted email campaigns (currently generating ~£1,000/month in commission)
Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets
Maintain a professional, consultative phone approach
Engage in training and continuously improve performance

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in sales, telesales, or a customer-facing role (desirable, not essential)
Confident and professional communication skills
Resilience and motivation to succeed in a high-volume outbound role
Coachable, with the ability to learn quickly and apply feedback
Strong work ethic and ambition to progress
Genuine interest in sales, finance, and career development
