Salaries: up to £55k OTE (DOE) + benefits
Accommodation and/or travel support will be considered for anyone wishing to relocate or work away from home during the working week.
Ongoing manufacture training and development will be offered.
Working Hours: 42 hours. 08.00 - 17.30 Mon-Thu, 08.00-17.00 Friday only.
Overview:
Taylors are proud to have recently opened the first Renault and Dacia 'Excellence Hub' in the UK. Our brand new workshop is a key technical centre supporting warranty, diagnostic and recovery operations within the South East region.
The Opportunity:
Currently we have looking to expand our existing team, therefore if you have any of the following skills and experience and you would like to be part of this exciting opportunity, then we'd be very keen to hear from you.
Skills & Experience:
- Renault or Nissan experience advantageous
- Ideally be a qualified Master Technician (Renault Technical Expert) or Level 3 Vehicle Technician (Renault Senior Technician) within a franchise dealer. (We are able to provide dedicated ‘conversion’ courses for Vehicle Technicians moving to us from another brand / manufacturer).
- Possess a good and varied knowledge and understanding of motor vehicles
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Possess a full UK driving license.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out diagnosis and repair of vehicles to the highest standards.
- Communicating with the Service Advisors and Workshop Control.
- On occasion, speaking with clients to provide expert knowledge and technical opinion.
- Maintain a thorough and up-to-date technical knowledge of product portfolio.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer service to encourage customer loyalty and referrals.
- Use of the in-house company computer system to accurately record all activity.
- A willingness to attend any internal / external company training courses aimed at enhancing your skills and keeping up to date with industry changes / standards.
- To help create and maintain a positive and friendly working environment.
