As an Full Stack Java Software Developer within National Technology you will be responsible for steering the direction of the product, working closely with our business line colleagues and technical colleagues who develop our payroll product. You will be instrumental in supporting a significant sales drive of the product.
You will be key to the development of the product, ensuring that the roadmap is delivered alongside business-as-usual changes, and ensuring that 3rd line support requests are handled in an accurate and timely manner.
You’ll make an impact by:

Serving as a technical product expert

Providing advice and knowledge transfer to the sales and operational teams

Estimating development timelines and deliver to those timelines

Working with stakeholders to define requirements

Researching and design new features

Resolving bugs and issues

Mentoring and develop more junior colleagues

Unit and integration testing of components under development

Working with the internal functional test team to resolve bugs

Performing reviews of other developers work

- Experience of being the lead developer of a whole, or significant part, of a complex system
