Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Counter Sales Parts Advisor to join our team in Ballymena! In this role, you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable resource for customers seeking automotive or engineering parts. Hours
You will work 40 Hours per week, working between the hours of 08:30 and 17:30 Monday to Friday.
In addition you will be required to work alternate Saturday's between 09:00 and 13:00 which will be paid at an overtime rate.
Duties
- To maximise sales for the branch
- Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales
- To service customers promptly and efficiently, ensuring all parts are supplied and invoiced correctly
- To work within a team and to communicate and liaise with other team members
- To attend Supplier's Training and Presentation meetings and undertake training and personal development as and when instructed
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

Essential Criteria:
- A record of great customer service
- A good knowledge of vehicle parts
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable outlook
- Good computer skills to utilise our electronic parts catalogues and product lookup systems
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in an automotive sales environment or 2 years as a motor mechanic
- Previous experience working with MAM Autopart and Autocat software
- Full driving license
