Full job description

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Production Supervisor to join our team based in Coleraine.

The role would suit someone with previous experience managing a number of staff within a busy production or manufacturing environment. Experience working around woodworking machinery would be beneficial, along with a good eye for quality, strong attention to detail and the ability to keep production moving efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping supervise daily production, supporting staff on the factory floor, maintaining quality standards and ensuring targets are met.

Key responsibilities will include:

Supervising and supporting a team of production staff
Helping organise daily workflow and production priorities
Working around woodworking machinery and manufacturing processes
Checking quality and ensuring standards are maintained
Helping ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved
Promoting good housekeeping, safe working practices and efficiency
Communicating with management regarding progress, issues or improvements

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous supervisory or team leader experience
Experience in a manufacturing, joinery, woodworking or production environment
Good people-management skills
A practical hands-on approach
Strong attention to detail and quality
The ability to work under pressure and hit targets
Good timekeeping and reliability

Hours:

Monday to Friday
7:30am to 4:00pm

Set holiday days apply.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
