As we continue to grow, we're excited to recruit an Alloy Wheel Technician to join our brand new alloy wheel refurbishment unit in Coleraine.
If you take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a hands on environment, we'd love to hear from you. Previous experience in alloy wheel refurbishment or a similar automotive role is beneficial, but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- An interest in alloy wheel refurbishment or previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with painted and diamond cut alloy wheels is desirable but not essential
- Good mechanical knowledge and confidence using power tools
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high quality work
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- The ability to carry out physically demanding tasks safely
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- A professional manner and commitment to excellent customer service
- A full UK driving licence
The role will involve:
- Refurbishing painted and diamond cut alloy wheels to a high standard
- Preparing wheels through sanding, filling and surface preparation
- Painting, lacquering and refinishing alloy wheels
- Operating refurbishment machinery and workshop equipment safely
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets our quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working as part of a team to deliver quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an early finish.
