The Wedding Room has been styling beautiful weddings and events since 2010. We specialise in luxury venue styling and high-quality faux florals, transforming venues for weddings, events and seasonal installations. We're looking for the right person to join our team and become an important part of the next chapter of the business.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the preparation and delivery of weddings and events.
From preparing stock and organising upcoming projects to installations and collections, you'll play an important role in bringing our events to life.
This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing things properly and likes being part of creating something special.
Please note, this role involves regular lifting, loading vans, use of step ladders, collections and weekend work during busy wedding and event periods.
Responsibilities
- Preparing décor and stock for upcoming weddings and events
- Managing and maintaining stock, equipment and storage areas
- Loading and unloading vans
- Assisting with delivery, installation and collection
- Styling venues alongside the team
- Checking returned stock and ensuring items are stored correctly
- Supporting the organisation and preparation of upcoming events
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and organisation
- Assisting with general operational duties within the business
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Is organised and dependable
- Has a practical, hands-on approach
- Takes pride in their work
- Is willing to learn and develop new skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Can also work independently
- Is physically capable of lifting and moving décor items
- Understands that hours may increase during busy wedding and event periods and reduce slightly during quieter times
- Holds a full driving licence
- Is aged 25 or over due to vehicle insurance requirements
- Notices what needs done, takes initiative and takes pride in seeing tasks through to completion
Experience
We're most interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to grow. Experience in weddings, events, hospitality, visual merchandising, floristry, retail or a similar role would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
