We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Appraiser to join a busy and growing automotive business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for cars and a keen eye for detail to develop a career within the motor trade.
As a Vehicle Appraiser, you will be responsible for assessing vehicles, recording their condition, and ensuring accurate information is captured to support the sales and purchasing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and assess vehicles upon arrival.
- Record vehicle condition, mileage, and specifications accurately.
- Identify any cosmetic or mechanical defects.
- Complete vehicle appraisal reports and documentation.
- Take photographs of vehicles where required.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding vehicle condition and preparation.
- Ensure vehicles are presented and stored in line with company standards.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
About You
- A genuine interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, or computer systems to record information.
- Previous motor trade experience is advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
