Job Overview

MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND ACCESS TO A CAR, DOMESTIC CLEANING AROUND WEST BRIDGFORD & SURROUNDING AREAS
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in West Bridgford. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous, and a friendly, professional attitude is essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-organised team committed to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic environment
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet cleaning or window washing
Support the team during busy periods by prioritising tasks effectively

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or additional duties as needed
Nice-to-have skills include cooking or customer service experience, which can enhance overall service delivery
