About Depot Dynamic
Depot Dynamic Limited supplies and supports specialist equipment for rail depots and maintenance operations - from calibration and rerailing kit to large depot machinery - alongside our own in-house product lines. Most of our work is international: Our uk team is a small, hands-on team coordinating suppliers, customers and projects around the world. Every day and equipment is different and everyone here owns real responsibility and their work is visible, so we want someone who takes pride in doing things properly and enjoys being trusted to get on with it.
The role
We are looking for an organised, supplier-facing Project / Operations Coordinatorto own the delivery of our equipment supply jobs end to end, so jobs run smoothly and stay on track. You will also manage the external subcontractors behind our in-house product lines and new services as they come on stream. The role is office-based at our Ringwood office (with a possible move to Southampton depending on location of new hires), with flexible start and finish times around core hours.
What you will do
- Run jobs from order to delivery: purchase orders, chasing and expediting suppliers, logistics and shipping (including imports), goods-in, quality paperwork and certificates, through to invoice-ready.
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors, including the partners who prototype and build our in-house product lines.
- Keep larger programme jobs on track and on time, and clear overdue-supply bottlenecks.
- Work closely with the Directors and and senior staff, taking on more responsibility over time.
What we are looking for
- Experience in rail, mechanical or industrial equipment supply, projects or procurement.
- Strong coordination and organisation, and comfortable working internationally - most of our customers and suppliers are overseas, so time zones, imports/exports and shipping are part of the daily job.
- Technically literate - able to read and understand equipment specifications and manage prototyping partners (you do not need to be a design engineer, but should have good understanding of technical function).
- Reliable and self-managing - someone who can be trusted to run a job end to end and deliver it, without being chased.
- Living within a sensible commute of our Ringwood office - this role is office-based, so please only apply if you can be on site most days.

Send your CV and a short note answering: (1) Where are you based, and what is your commute to our office (Ringwood / Southampton)? (2) What relevant equipment supply, projects or procurement experience do you have? (3) Why this role, and why this kind of small hands-on team?
