RKW Ltd is now hiring for multiple Warehouse Teams Leader to join our team at our Distribution Centre in Stone, Staffordshire.

- Goods-In x 2
- Goods-Out x1
- Post x1
This role operates on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00–14:30 and 14:00–22:00, with weekend working included on a rota basis.
Example rota:
Anyone adopting this shift pattern 1,725 hrs per annum will be the hours worked, therefore, to ensure 1950 hours are as standard, we will require 225 hours to be made up throughout the year covering annual leave and help where needed.
As a Warehouse Team Leader, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of your team within the warehouse. You will be expected to lead by example, support daily operations, and ensure performance targets are met. Flexibility in working hours is required to meet operational demands, including overtime where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team in day-to-day warehouse operations
- Actively participate in operational tasks alongside your team
- Plan and organise team activities to meet operational targets
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to team members
- Communicate clear instructions and expectations
- Monitor performance and ensure processes are followed correctly
- Identify training needs and support continuous development
- Manage workflow to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Produce reports and provide updates on team performance
- Work closely with supervisors and managers to support operations
- Step up to cover supervisory duties when required
In addition to the above, you may be required to carry out other reasonable duties to support the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse operation.
This role operates on a structured shift pattern to promote consistency, teamwork, and routine. Flexibility with working hours and holidays is essential, including providing cover for colleagues when required.
