Product Manger (Buying and Production)– Uggly&Co

Marlow, Buckinghamshire | Part -Time | 3 days PW £26000-£35000 FTE Dependant On Experience

Uggly&Co is a fast-growing motorcycle and adrenaline lifestyle clothing brand. We operate across multiple branded channels and are scaling aggressively across digital, retail and events.

We are looking for a highly capable, experienced Buying and Production Manager to take ownership of our product range.

This empowering role, offers the opportunity to grow the existing ranges, develop and implement new opportunities and manage the sourcing and planning of ranges. It would suit someone looking for autonomy over product from end to end, which requires a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.

Core Responsibility

Source, develop and buy a commercial range that maximises sales and profit

Product

Maintain a clear understanding of our customer and brand handwriting, as well as demonstrating knowledge of our competitors
Work closely with the team to understand the requirement for each product drop and execute
Take ownership of each range, demonstrating your influence on the range build and responsibility for delivering it
Suggest, develop and deliver new product areas ensuring they meet required margins
Prepare and present weekly performance, offering solutions to potentialize best sellers and improve slower sellers

Sourcing

Maintain and develop strong relationships with Suppliers
Implement Supplier meetings and ensure these are documented and followed through
Create and implement tech packs, ensuring attention to all details
Calculate product costing and negotiate costs with factories to achieve optimal pricing and flexibility
Independently analyse Trade reports, highlighting key points and suggesting actions
Source and select new factories for existing product groups and new areas visiting where relevant

Critical Path

Manage the upkeep of critical path, keeping to production timelines and delivery deadlines
Review base fabrics and bulk independently and drive decision making
Manage fit sessions
Strong attention to detail in quality control, including managing production/photography samples
Prepare and present weekly delivery schedule meetings
