About the Role:

Massa Gioconda Jewellery and Gemstones is looking for a Social Media Assistant to join our team in Lisburn. You will help create and publish engaging digital content that presents our jewellery, gemstones and customer services clearly across social media platforms.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys visual storytelling, understands social media trends and can maintain a consistent brand voice. You will work with colleagues across sales, ecommerce and product photography to plan content that supports customer engagement and online sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning:

Help prepare weekly and monthly social media content plans based on products, promotions, seasonal events and business priorities.

Post Creation:

Write clear captions and prepare social media posts that reflect the company style and encourage customer interaction.

Content Scheduling:

Schedule approved posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest.

Product Content:

Create simple visual content featuring jewellery, gemstones, gift ideas, product details and behind the scenes activities.

Photography Support:

Assist with basic product photography, short videos and the organisation of visual content for digital use.

Community Support:

Monitor comments and messages, respond to routine enquiries and direct customer service questions to the appropriate colleague.

Campaign Support:

Assist with promotional campaigns, product launches, competitions and seasonal marketing activities.

Trend Research:

Monitor relevant jewellery, fashion, gifting and social media trends to identify useful content ideas.

Performance Tracking:

Record basic information such as reach, engagement, clicks and follower growth for regular reporting.

Brand Consistency:

Make sure captions, images and published materials follow the company tone, visual standards and product information.

Ecommerce Support:

Coordinate with the ecommerce team to ensure social posts link to the correct products and current website information.

Content Organisation:

Maintain organised folders containing approved images, videos, captions and campaign materials.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

Previous experience in social media, digital content, marketing support, retail promotion or a similar role is preferred.

Social Media Knowledge:

Good understanding of major social media platforms and how businesses use them to communicate with customers.

Writing Skills:

Ability to produce clear, accurate and engaging captions in English.

Visual Awareness:

Good eye for presentation, composition and detail, particularly when working with jewellery and product images.

Digital Skills:

Comfortable using social media scheduling tools, basic design software and common office applications.

Organisation:

Ability to manage a content calendar, maintain accurate records and complete tasks within agreed deadlines.

Communication:

Confident and professional when communicating with customers and working with colleagues from different teams.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to check product names, prices, links, spelling and visual content carefully before publication.

Mindset:

You are creative, dependable and willing to learn. You enjoy turning product information into engaging content and understand the importance of consistency, accuracy and timely communication.

Pay: £2,350.00-£2,750.00 per month
