Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team for painting conveyor rollers and mesh screens that are manufactured in-house. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to various components and products, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in spray painting in the crushing and screening sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking prior to painting
Operate spray painting equipment safely and effectively to achieve desired finishes
Mix paints and coatings accurately according to specifications
Conduct quality checks on painted components to ensure consistency and adherence to standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Assist with assembly or fabrication tasks when required

Qualifications

Proven experience in spray painting is preferred
Ability to perform basic maths calculations for mixing paints and measurements
Good understanding of safety procedures related to the use of chemicals, tools, and equipment
Attention to detail and quality standards
