Dental Receptionist / Coordinator
Full-time · On-site in Corby · The welcoming face of a five-star dental practice
Every great patient experience starts before the dentist ever says hello. It starts with the voice on the phone, the warm welcome at the door, and the quiet confidence that everything is running on time and in good hands. That is the role you would own at Natural Smiles.
We are looking for a Dental Receptionist / Coordinator who takes genuine pride in five-star customer care — someone who can turn a routine appointment into a reason for patients to recommend us to their family and friends.
About Natural Smiles
Natural Smiles is a premium dental practice in Corby, built on a simple belief: patients deserve an experience that feels calm, personal, and exceptional from the very first contact. We invest in our team, our environment, and our standards so that every patient leaves feeling genuinely cared for.
This is not a tick-box reception job. It is a front-of-house leadership role at the heart of the practice — the person who sets the tone for the whole patient journey.
What You’ll Own
Day to day, you will be the person who keeps the practice running smoothly and the patients feeling looked after. That means:
- Smooth, efficient diary management — owning the appointment book, keeping clinicians on schedule, and making sure no patient ever feels rushed or forgotten.
- Five-star customer care — greeting every patient warmly in person and on the phone, anticipating their needs, and making them feel like the most important person in the room.
- Co-ordinating the whole team — liaising with dentists, hygienists, nurses, and the Practice Manager so the day flows effortlessly and nothing slips through the cracks.
- Protecting the patient experience — handling enquiries, payments, and follow-ups with the warmth and professionalism our brand is known for.
What Success Looks Like in Year One
- Patients comment on how welcome and well looked-after they feel — and tell others.
- The diary runs smoothly, clinician time is well used, and last-minute gaps are kept to a minimum.
- The whole team trusts you to keep the front of house calm, organised, and on top of detail.
Who We’re Looking For Must-haves
- Experience in a customer-service or public-facing role, where looking after people was the core of the job.
- Confident, efficient computer skills — comfortable learning and working across practice software, diaries, and digital systems.
- Excellent communication skills, proven in a public-facing setting — warm, clear, and professional with people in person and on the phone.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a dental practice or other healthcare reception (welcome, but genuinely not essential — we will train the right person).
- A natural eye for detail and a calm head when the practice is busy.
Why Join Natural Smiles
This is a role for someone who wants their work to matter. You will be part of a close-knit, supportive team in a practice that genuinely values its people and holds itself to a premium standard. If you take pride in making people feel cared for, you will fit right in — and you will be recognised for it.
Full- time role 37.5 hours per week. Mon-Fri. Hours are Mon 9.00am-5.30pm, Tuesday 9.00am-7.00pm, Wednesday 9.00am-6.30pm, Thursday 9.00am-5.30pm, Friday 9.00am-2.00pm.
This is a role that will be rewarding and vital in the running of the practice, and the right candidate will be remunerated accordingly.
