Duties

Setup and operate surface mount technology (SMT) machines to assemble electronic components with precision, on a rotating shift pattern.
Perform routine maintenance on SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilise inspection equipment to validate product quality.
Use of general hand tools for production tasks, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency, product quality and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and report any discrepancies or defects.

Experience

Proven experience in SMT operations or a similar role is highly desirable.
Familiarity using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
