Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Coach Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Coaches adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers, providing clear information regarding routes or delays.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and tyre pressures.
- Ensure the Coach is clean and presentable for passengers at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a coach driver.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with minor maintenance or troubleshooting issues.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with large vehicles such as lorries or coaches is advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions and traffic situations.
- Organised and punctual, with a focus on providing reliable transportation services.
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour.
