Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Scaffolder (CISRS Part 2) to join our team in. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Erecting, altering, and dismantling scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Inspecting scaffolding for stability and safety throughout the duration of the project
- Ensuring all scaffolding complies with relevant health and safety standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans to accurately assemble scaffolding systems
- Collaborating with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, plumbers, masons, welders, and electricians as required
- Using hand tools and power tools effectively to assist in fabrication and assembly tasks
- Maintaining a clean and organised work site to promote safety and efficiency
- Assisting with the safe transportation of scaffolding materials around the site
Qualifications
- Valid CISRS Part 2 Scaffolders Certification is essential
- Proven experience in scaffolding construction within the UK construction industry
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to scaffolding work
- Skills in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or fabrication are desirable but not mandatory
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret plans accurately
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
