Expanding Our Dartford Production Team: Now Hiring Specialist Roles

From retail spaces to global exhibitions and corporate branding, our Dartford production hub plays a critical role in delivering high-quality large format graphics and display solutions across the UK.

Due to continued growth and investment, we are expanding our production team and are now hiring for three specialist roles.

Dartford, Kent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Holiday: 21 days + bank holidays

Overtime…

Saturday: Time and a Half

Sunday: Double Time

Print Pre-Press Operator (Print Factory Experience)

Overview

Salary: (depending on experience)
We are looking for a skilled Print Pre-Press Operator with strong experience using PrintFactory RIP software to join our production team. This role is critical in ensuring all artwork is correctly prepared, colour managed, and optimised for print across a range of large format devices. You’ll act as the link between design, production, and finishing – making sure jobs run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality.

What you’ll be doing:

Preparing and checking artwork for print across large format jobs
Operating and managing PrintFactory RIP software
Colour management, profiling, and ensuring consistency across substrates
Setting up files for various print processes (roll-to-roll, flatbed, UV, etc.)
Nesting, tiling, and optimising layouts for maximum efficiency
Pre-flighting files and resolving artwork issues before production
Liaising with internal teams (sales, production, finishing) to ensure smooth workflow
Managing job queues and prioritising urgent work
Maintaining file naming conventions and job organisation within workflow systems (e.g. PrintIQ)
Supporting continuous improvement of pre-press processes and workflows

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in a pre-press / print operator role (large format preferred
Strong working knowledge of PrintFactory RIP software (essential)
Good understanding of colour management and ICC profiling
Experience preparing files for large format print (vinyl, boards, fabrics, etc.)
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
High attention to detail and ability to spot artwork issues quickly
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
Strong organisational and communication skills
