Pay: £16.05 per hour + enhanced overtime rates.
Contract Type: Permanent / 40 Hours per week
Days of Work: Monday to Friday. Keep your weekends for yourself!
Shift Pattern: 08:30 to 17:30

Job Description

The Role

You’ll be the face of DPD, managing a designated route with roughly 50-60 stops. You’re not just a driver; you’re a problem-solver and a tech-user. Your role is vital in providing a service that genuinely makes a difference to our customers.

Drive: Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle across local routes.
Tech: Use our industry-leading handheld Saturn devices to manage deliveries and track progress.
Connect: Be the friendly face our customers see every day.
Move: Load / unload parcels using provided equipment, such as a sack barrow / hand truck, to safely handle heavier items

Qualifications

What You Bring

The Essentials: A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
Vibe: You’re professional, approachable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Fitness: You’re physically active and comfortable with the lifting involved in the job.
Values: You care about doing a good job and treat customers and colleagues with respect.
