Banner Contracts is looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Plant Operators to join our growing contract crushing and screening team.
This is a hands-on role working on quarrying, recycling and infrastructure projects across the UK. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious operators who take pride in operating and maintaining modern heavy plant while supporting efficient crushing and screening operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a range of heavy plant safely and efficiently.
- Feed crushing and screening plants to maximise production.
- Load road wagons and build/manage stockpiles.
- Carry out daily inspections and basic maintenance of plant.
- Work closely with Supervisors to achieve production targets.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site safety.
- Report defects and assist with planned maintenance.
- Assist with plant setup, mobilisation and site moves.
- Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures.
About You
- Previous experience within quarrying, recycling or contract crushing operations.
- Competent operating a variety of mobile plant.
- Experience feeding crushers and screeners.
- Good understanding of material handling and stockpile management.
- Mechanically minded with the ability to identify and report defects.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willing to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.
- Full UK driving licence.
Essential Qualifications & Tickets
- CPCS or NPORS Mobile Plant Operator Cards.
- Competent on one or more of the following:
- Excavator
- Loading Shovel
- Articulated Dump Truck (ADT)
- Dozer
- Telehandler (desirable)
- Crusher and Screener operator tickets are advantageous.
