Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional environment. The Chef de Partie will play a key role in maintaining our standards of food safety, presentation, and service excellence.

Duties

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauces
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to
Assist in the development of new menu items and culinary techniques
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Support junior team members through training and mentorship as required
Ensure that all meals meet the restaurant’s quality standards before serving

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or culinary setting is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail in meal presentation and quality
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
