Bewiched is an independent coffee chain with 20 thriving sites across Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, and Warwickshire. We aren't your average high-street coffee shop, we are a brand with a difference. Our service is unrivalled, our product is handcrafted, and our stores quickly become the proud hub of the communities they serve.
We are actively growing, and to support our expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring, structured, and culture-driven trainee store manager to work within the Warwickshire area.
The Opportunity: Fast-Track Your Leadership
We do things differently at Bewiched. Rather than throwing a new Manager straight onto the shop floor on Day 1, we believe in setting our leaders up for absolute success.
As a trainee store manager, you won’t just be waiting in the wings, you will be an active, high-visibility leader from day one. You will join our fast-track immersive onboarding program across our top-performing stores, working closely with our senior leaders, mastering our operational rhythm, and immersing yourself in our culture.
By the time your opportunity arises, you will step into the role fully confident, completely supported, and ready to lead a high-performing business seamlessly.
What We Believe In (Our Core Values)
At Bewiched, we don't just put our values on a poster, we live them on the shop floor every single shift. As a leader, you will champion:
- Becoming Better Together: We learn, coach, and improve as one team, fostering an environment where collaboration leads to personal growth.
- Can-Do Attitude: We find a way and bring positive energy to every shift, embracing challenges with optimism and creativity.
- Honesty & Integrity: We do the right thing, even when no one is watching, building transparent trust with our teams and customers.
- Make Their Day: We focus on genuine interactions to create memorable moments that elevate our service and build lasting community relationships.
The Role & Your Mission
Your primary mission is to move from control to influence, developing team members to deliver excellence naturally. During your dedicated training and floating leadership period, you will:
- Master Our Standards & Systems: Immerse yourself in our operational routines, maintaining a sparkling store environment and ensuring our spectacular handcrafted products hit brand standards every single time.
- Develop & Coach: Live our belief in Becoming Better Together by coaching our teams across different sites, learning how to build self-sufficient teams.
- Deliver Our "Big 5": Lead by example to ensure teams consistently provide unrivalled customer service through friendly greetings, smiles, authentic connection, and genuine farewells.
- Perfect the Business Routines: Master our stock management, waste reduction, labour metrics, and the Bewiched Communication Cycle to ensure complete alignment across an entire store team.
- Step In & Lead: Support existing Store Managers during key trading and peak periods, gaining diverse operational experience before taking on your dedicated store.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven management or strong supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or coffee/foodservice.
- A passion for people development, high operational standards, and exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to spend your initial onboarding period rotating across our local store network while preparing for your dedicated site.
- An ambitious, adaptable mindset, someone who views this training period as a prime opportunity to build a solid foundation for long-term career growth.
