Full job description

We are looking for an accounts / bookkeeping assistant with administration experience to assist in the daily operations of our growing business.

The main duties of this position are outlined below:

BOOKKEEPING

Purchase/sales ledger
Bank reconciliation
Profit and loss
Cash flow management
Tax payable
Invoicing
Accounts payable
Payroll (PAYE)
C.I.S tax (construction industry scheme tax)
Domestic reverse VAT charge for construction

Experience with Xero is advantageous.

ADMINISTRATION

Filing job sheets
Assist in organising and scheduling planned works
Office filing
Insurances
Vehicle documents
Assist in business streamlining and internal systems, budgeting and forecasts.
Communication assistance (phone and email)

Experience

Xero accounting
Demonstrable experience in data entry within a financial or administrative context
Prior exposure to accounts payable processes within a financial services environment is preferred
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
