This role is ideal for an organised and detail-focused professional who enjoys coordinating moving parts, solving operational challenges, and keeping customers, drivers, and internal teams connected. You will play an important role in managing daily logistics operations, supporting transport planning, and ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport Coordination: Coordinate daily transport activities, including delivery schedules, collections, and driver communication.

Route and Schedule Management: Support transport planning by organising efficient routes and monitoring delivery progress.

Driver Support: Act as a key point of contact for drivers, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth operations.

Customer Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers regarding delivery schedules, updates, and service requirements.

Documentation Management: Prepare, check, and maintain accurate transport records, delivery paperwork, and operational information.

Problem Solving: Identify operational challenges quickly and work with the team to find effective solutions.

Systems and Administration: Maintain accurate information using logistics systems, spreadsheets, and internal processes.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination, dispatch, freight, supply chain, or a similar operational role is preferred.

Organisation Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with customers, drivers, suppliers, and colleagues.

Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and find practical solutions.

Technology Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.

Team Approach: Reliable, proactive, and willing to support colleagues to achieve operational goals.

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
