An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship Trainer in Health Care to join our Apprenticeships team reporting to our Apprenticeship Manager.
As an Apprenticeship Trainer with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for the delivery, support, monitoring and assessment of the Lead Adult Care Worker Apprentices.
The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience within a care setting along with good organisational skills and motivation to deliver quality training and assessment. The successful candidate will need to have drive and enthusiasm, a commitment to high standards and an exceptional approach to innovative teaching and learning within an apprenticeship remit. You will also be required to have a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
For this role, you'll bring recent experience within the health and social care sector, including a strong understanding of current industry practices and apprenticeship standards. Applicants should hold a Level 4 qualification (or above) in a relevant health and care subject, along with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Level 2 or above. You'll be passionate about developing others, with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, and the ability to motivate learners to achieve success. Experience in apprenticeship delivery, assessment, End Point Assessment preparation, teaching or using e-portfolio systems would be advantageous.

- Hours of work are flexible. Staff need to meet the needs of learners but are able to work flexibly to accommodate this.
