Recruitment Coordinator North East
Find extraordinary people for extraordinary work.
Location: North East Office, Peterlee
Hours: MondayFriday 9 am 5 pm
Salary: £30,000 DOE
The right people change lives. Come and help us find them.
At Nova Care Group, we don't believe recruitment is about filling vacancies.
It's about finding the right people.
People with the resilience to do extraordinary work.
People who see the person, not the behaviour.
People who can bring compassion, courage and consistency to some of the most challenging moments in a young person's life.
And that's where you come in.
We're looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our growing Careers Team in the North East and help us find the extraordinary people who make extraordinary things happen every day.
This isn't your typical recruitment admin role. You'll be at the heart of our recruitment activity coordinating assessment days, supporting recruitment events, working alongside our Forces Transition Group partners, engaging with candidates and helping us bring brilliant Support Workers into the Nova family.
You will help make sure the right people are in the right place, at the right time, to change lives.
What will you be doing?
You'll be the organisational heartbeat of our North East recruitment activity.
You'll help us:
-
Coordinate two assessment days every month, making sure candidates have an experience that reflects who we are.
-
Coordinate and attend 10+ recruitment events and job shows throughout the year.
-
Support our work with the Forces Transition Group, connecting with people who bring incredible skills and life experience into new careers.
-
Coordinate candidate journeys from application through to assessment and onboarding.
-
Support the recruitment of our Support Workers, helping us build the teams who deliver our life-changing work.
-
Build positive relationships with candidates, employment partners, community organisations and our internal teams.
-
Keep our recruitment activity organised, professional and moving forward.
-
Be part of the Careers Team that asks one very important question:
"Are we finding the right people?"
And as you grow in confidence and capability, so will your role.
This role can grow with you.
We're not looking for someone who already knows everything. We're looking for someone who wants to learn, grow and become brilliant at recruitment.
You'll work alongside experienced Careers Specialists and the Head of Careers, developing your skills across recruitment, candidate attraction, assessment, events and talent acquisition.
Over time, you'll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility for Support Worker recruitment, candidate sourcing, talent pipelines, employability partnerships and recruitment campaigns.
For the right person, this role can become the first step towards a future Careers Specialist position.
