Car Sales Executive – SKV Motors, Romford

SKV Motors is one of the fastest-growing independent used car dealerships in Essex, and we're expanding our sales team. We're looking for an experienced Sales Executive who knows how to close deals and turn every enquiry into an opportunity.

This is a results-driven role for someone who thrives on hitting targets and closing sales. We're looking for a proven deal closer — someone with the drive, energy, and enthusiasm to make things happen, not just someone who can talk the talk. You'll need at least two years of motor trade sales experience, a genuine hunger to succeed, and the natural ability to build rapport and trust with every customer you meet.

We believe every lead is an opportunity. The right candidate will know how to make the most of each one — confidently guiding customers toward alternative vehicles already on our forecourt when their first choice isn't quite right, and exploring every option before letting an opportunity slip away. Where a customer is looking for something outside our current stock, you'll liaise with our dedicated buying team, providing clear and accurate vehicle requirements so they can source the right car. A strong working knowledge of car finance and additional products, such as extended warranties, is essential, as these form a core part of every sale we make.

Key Responsibilities

Closing deals
Maximising every lead by confidently presenting alternative vehicles from our forecourt
Providing accurate and detailed vehicle requirements to our buying team when sourcing is required
Guiding customers through the full sales journey, from initial enquiry through to test drive, finance, and handover
Selling car finance and additional products, such as extended warranties, as standard practice
Maintaining the highest presentation standards across stock and advertising
Building lasting customer relationships that generate referrals and repeat business

About You

A proven track record in closing deals, with a results-driven approach to sales
A minimum of two years' motor trade sales experience
Strong knowledge of car finance and additional products such as extended warranties (essential)
Genuine enthusiasm and drive, with the resilience to explore every avenue before letting a lead go cold
Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
A commitment to honesty and transparency with customers and colleagues
Ambition to build a long-term career with a growing business
