Experienced Bookkeeper(s) (Practice)
123 Easy Books is a growing bookkeeping practice based in Witham, Essex. We are looking for Experienced Bookkeepers (Practice) to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis.
These are full-time or part time roles, both are office-based in Witham & we are open Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5pm.
Location
Witham, Essex (office-based)
Due to the nature of the role, these position(s) would suit someone based locally or within a reasonable commuting distance.
Occasional client visits across Essex (and very limited London travel) may be required.
Key responsibilities
- Double-entry bookkeeping
- VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll and CIS processing
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Client communication
- General bookkeeping duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a practice bookkeeping role
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent experience
- Experience using Xero is essential
- Knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, FreeAgent or BrightPay is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Training will be provided where appropriate.
