Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant educational team. Duties
- Assist class teachers with planning and delivering tailored lessons for diverse student needs, including those with disabilities and autism.
- Supervise and manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring and mentoring to support students’ academic progress and social development.
- Support students with special educational needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Foster creative writing exercises and encourage expressive communication to enhance literacy skills.
- Monitor student behavior, promote positive conduct, and address behavioral challenges proactively.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external specialists to ensure consistent support for students’ growth and well-being.
Skills
- Strong understanding of special education principles and experience working with children with disabilities or autism.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring young learners across diverse settings.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies creatively to meet individual student needs.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and inclusive classroom practices.
