Could you be our next Debt Management Assistant within our Revenues and Benefits team?
In this role you will work within a team to recover amounts due in respect of council tax liabilities, rent arrears, housing benefit overpayments and other sundry debts in accordance with general guidance, statutory procedures, best practice and Council policies. This includes speaking to customers, negotiating, making and monitoring special payment arrangements and determining appropriate next recovery actions.
What we are looking for…
The ideal person for this role will have previous experience working in a revenues environment or similar and used revenues systems or similar in the past. You will have knowledge of Council Tax or Rent Collection and will have experience in a customer service environment.
