Full job description

This is a part-time role. We can offer 15 - 28 hours.

Please mention in your application how many hours per week you are available to work.

We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented Bookkeeper to join our management accounting team for SMEs. The successful candidate will be allocated to a client and responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, and supporting the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
Preparing VAT returns and assisting with payroll
Maintaining financial records using accounting software
Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
Liaising with accountants and external stakeholders when required

Requirements

Previous bookkeeping or finance experience
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
Experience using accounting software
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
