Fire Protection Services (FPS) is looking for experienced Fire Alarm Engineers who are ready for a fresh challenge and want to expand their technical expertise into the fire sprinkler industry.
Many of the skills you've developed in fire alarm commissioning, fault finding and system programming are directly transferable to modern residential and commercial sprinkler systems.
Your existing experience could include:
- Fire alarm commissioning and servicing
- Cause & effect programming
- Fault diagnosis and system troubleshooting
- Installation and commissioning of control panels
- Programming and testing monitored systems
- Customer liaison and technical support
We will provide training on:
- Residential and commercial fire sprinkler systems
- Fire pump commissioning and testing
- Sprinkler monitoring and interface systems
- Flow switches, pressure monitoring and valve supervision
- Specialist sprinkler standards and commissioning procedures
If you enjoy solving technical problems and commissioning life safety systems, you'll find the transition far easier than you may think.
What we're looking for:
- Experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills
- Good electrical knowledge
- Excellent customer communication
- Full UK driving licence
- A willingness to learn a specialist discipline
