#INDDUNFERMLINE

Pain Free Dentistry Group currently have the following exciting opportunity for a qualified Dental Therapist to join our award winning fully private practices Dentistry @No3 and Century House in Dunfermline on a temporary Maternity Cover position starting September 2026 to Jan 2027 with possibility to extend:

Temporary Maternity Cover position, 18 hours per week:

Monday: 2pm-8pm
Wednesday: 2pm-8pm
Thursday: 8am-2pm (this can be extended 8am-8pm if the diary gets busier)

Responsibilities:

Provide a range of dental treatments, including preventative care, restorative procedures, and oral health education. Utilising the full dental therapist scope of practice.

Develop individualised treatment plans and collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory and practice standards.

Engage with patients empathetically, ensuring a pain-free and positive dental experience.

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in dental therapy and full registration with the GDC

Demonstrated experience, with a passion for comprehensive, patient-centred care.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in dental therapy.
