Are you a legal professional with litigation experience eager to shape the future of AI? Large-scale language models are evolving from clever chatbots into powerful engines of academic and professional exploration. With high-quality training data, tomorrow's AI can democratize world-class legal education, assist with real-world legal reasoning, and support advanced research and practice across jurisdictions. That training data begins with you—your expertise will help power the next generation of AI.

We're looking for individuals with substantial litigation experience who can challenge AI models with realistic legal scenarios, assess their reasoning, and identify opportunities for improvement. You'll engage with cutting-edge AI on topics like statutory interpretation, judicial reasoning, precedent analysis, legal citation formats, case brief construction, and evidentiary standards—documenting performance gaps to strengthen model reasoning.

On a typical day, you will engage in substantive legal dialogue with the model, assess its responses for factual and analytical rigor, identify reproducible failure points, and collaborate with our team to refine prompts and improve evaluation metrics.

A JD or equivalent legal degree is required, along with significant litigation experience—whether gained in practice, academia, government, or related fields. Ideal candidates may also bring a history of publication, prior clerkships, teaching experience, or subject matter specialization. The ability to articulate legal reasoning clearly and precisely is essential.

We offer a pay range of $50 to $75 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
