This is an delivery role within Deloitte’s insurance technology delivery capability. You will support the successful delivery of workstreams within complex insurance transformation programmes, taking ownership of defined delivery outcomes while working under the direction of senior project, programme or product leadership.
You may operate as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, delivery lead or junior project manager depending on client need, helping teams maintain momentum, manage delivery disciplines and translate insurance business requirements into clear technology outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, coordinate and track delivery activity across insurance technology workstreams, helping teams deliver to agreed scope, timelines, quality expectations and governance standards.
- Support the definition of workstream scope, delivery plans, RAID logs, dependencies, milestones and reporting materials, escalating risks and issues appropriately.
- Work with business, operations, technology, data, testing and change stakeholders to clarify requirements, unblock delivery activity and support informed decision-making.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, maintain delivery cadence and support effective backlog management, sprint planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives where agile methods are used.
- Produce clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, delivery updates and decision materials that are appropriate for technical teams, business stakeholders and client leadership.
- Support quality, testing and readiness activities by ensuring requirements, solution impacts, dependencies and acceptance criteria are understood and traceable.
- Contribute to strong delivery governance, including status reporting, action tracking, stakeholder engagement, change control and benefits-focused delivery management.

We are seeking an technology delivery professional with experience supporting insurance transformation programmes and the confidence to bridge business, operations and technology teams. You will be comfortable taking ownership of defined workstream outcomes, producing high-quality delivery artefacts, and working collaboratively with senior colleagues to manage delivery risk and drive progress.
Experience supporting delivery within insurance, life and pensions, general insurance, claims, policy administration, distribution, regulatory, data or operational transformation programmes.
Ability to operate effectively as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, delivery coordinator or junior project manager within agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
Strong understanding of core delivery disciplines, including planning, RAID management, dependency management, backlog management, governance, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
Experience translating business needs into clear delivery artefacts such as user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, requirements packs, decision logs and status updates.
Confidence facilitating workshops and agile ceremonies, helping teams clarify priorities, remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for delivery teams, business stakeholders, technology teams and client management.
A pragmatic problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities while knowing when to escalate for support or decision-making.
Commercial awareness and appreciation of working in a consulting environment, including the importance of quality, pace, stakeholder confidence and measurable client impact.
Preferred Experience and Attributes:
- Knowledge of insurance processes, products or platforms, such as new business, policy servicing, claims, underwriting, adviser servicing, customer communications, pensions administration, regulatory reporting or operational controls.
- Experience using delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Planview, PowerPoint and Excel to manage work, report progress and support governance.
- Familiarity with technology-enabled insurance change, including core platform modernisation, automation, data migration, workflow, integration, testing, operational readiness or digital customer journeys.
- Understanding of regulated delivery environments and the importance of auditability, controls, data protection, operational resilience and customer outcomes.
- Professional certifications such as Scrum Master, PRINCE2, APM, PMI, SAFe or equivalent delivery qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, including data, automation and AI, and how they can be applied responsibly to improve insurance operations and delivery outcomes.
