Trainee Plastics Fabricators & General Manufacturing Operatives
Location: Bishopbriggs, Glasgow
We are looking for Trainee Plastics Fabricators and General Manufacturing Operatives to join our growing team at our busy plastics manufacturing facility in Bishopbriggs.
This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic, reliable individuals who are keen to learn new skills and build a long-term career in plastics manufacturing. Full training will be provided for suitable candidates.
The Role
Working as part of our production team, duties will include:
- Fabricating and assembling plastic components.
- Operating workshop machinery and power tools.
- Cutting, preparing and finishing plastic materials.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
- General workshop and manufacturing duties.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
About You
Experience in plastics fabrication is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
- Workshop machinery, including dimensional saws.
- Power tools.
- Sheet metal fabrication.
- Joinery or woodworking.
- General manufacturing or production environments.
You should be:
- Reliable, hardworking and motivated.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Keen to learn and develop new practical skills.
- Committed to producing high-quality work.
