We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper/Payroll Officer to join our admin team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely payroll processing, and efficient management of accounts payable. Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software using Sage
- Process payroll efficiently, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and vendor payments
- Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions, employee records, and payroll data
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularities and recommend corrective actions
- Generate reports for management review, providing insights into financial performance and payroll metrics
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Sage accounting software
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing procedures
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation methods
- Analytical skills capable of interpreting complex financial data accurately
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Previous experience in payroll administration is desirable
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or human resources are advantageous

Our working hours are Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:15
Holidays
Glenisla operates set shutdown periods for holidays, 1 week in April, 2 weeks in July, 1 week in October and 2 weeks at Christmas, with three bank holiday Mondays - 2 in May and one in September.

Pay: £24,420.00-£25,500.00 per year
