Full job description

We have an opportunity for a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our well-established and reputable team based in Penrith.

The ideal candidate will undertake a variety of electrical tasks across a number of projects throughout Cumbria, such as 1st and 2nd fix tasks, commissioning, and wiring or air source heat pumps.

Benefits:

£31,200 - £41,600 basic salary
Typical annual earnings of £34,000–£46,000 with regular overtime
31 days annual leave (23 days plus 8 bank holidays)

Position Overview:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
Perform routine inspections
Testing and wiring of heating systems and air source heat pumps
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or hazards
Completion of daily records

About You:

Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures
Inspection and Testing C&G 2391 or equivalent qualification is desired, but not essential.
