Job Purpose
Reporting to our Company Secretary, the Accounts, Payroll & Marketing Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the business group, ensuring accurate payroll processing, and assisting with the company’s marketing activities. This varied role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting the overall success of the business group.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Administration
· Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
· Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
· Prepare and process payments to suppliers.
· Process monthly C.I.S returns
· Credit control and customer account management.
· Support month-end and year-end accounting processes.
· Maintain filing systems and financial documentation.
· Assist with budgeting, reporting and financial analysis as required.
· Liaise with external accountants and auditors when necessary.
Payroll Administration
· Process 4 weekly payroll accurately and within deadlines.
· Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality.
· Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, statutory payments and deductions.
· Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and payroll regulations.
· Process pension contributions and other payroll-related benefits.
· Respond to payroll queries from employees.
· Prepare payroll reports for management.
· Maintain holiday, sickness and absence records where required.
Marketing Administration
· Assist in planning and delivering marketing campaigns.
· Create and schedule content for the company’s social media platforms.
· Liaise with external IT to update and maintain the company website.
· Assist with designing promotional materials, newsletters and advertisements.
· Coordinate company events and promotions.
· Monitor marketing performance and prepare reports.
· Ensure all branding remains consistent across digital and printed materials.
· Support customer communications and promotional activities.
General Responsibilities
· Provide general administrative support across the business group.
· Maintain accurate records and ensure data protection requirements are met.
· Build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
· Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes.

Person Specification
Essential
· Previous experience in accounts administration.
· Experience processing payroll.
· Strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Desirable
· Experience using accounting and payroll software (Sage Accounts & Payroll).
