Job Details
- Plan and deliver a range youth work activities that will engage young people aged 8 to 16.
- Evaluate youth work activities to ensure they meet the needs of children and young people.
- Evening work during term time.
- Support Youth Workers and volunteers.
The Person
- Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a youth work setting .
- Good organisational skills .
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and learning activities for young people .
- Build positive relationships with young people
- Good communication skills .
- Driving licence advantageous but not required, however must be able to travel across North East Fife .
- Flexibility to occasionally support youth work sessions and events in other locations .
- Availability during school holiday periods may be required to provide cover for groups, activities and events .
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with young people, colleagues and partners.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
