We have the job for you.... Our Distribution Shift Manager is responsible for many aspects of the day to day running of the department, overseeing both our Orkie and Balmalcolm teams.
A multi-faceted role, the Shift Manager will be responsible for
- delivery of business goals
- cost savings
- supplier / haulage relationship management
- contact between departments (particularly Production)
- and of course, overseeing and managing the out loading/ distribution function of the business alongside the Team Managers.
You will also be involved in People related aspects such as interviewing for new team members and covering both Distribution Manager and Team Manager shifts where necessary.
Whilst this is a Shift Manager role, it may require factory floor work at peak times, so forklift experience would be valuable, but training can be provided for the right candidate, along with refresher courses for expired tickets.
