STAINLESS POLISHER

Lucid Creates are looking for an experienced Metal Polisher to join a fast-paced fabrication environment specialising in producing high-end public art installations. This project-based role will focus on polishing and finishing stainless steel components to a high, durable display standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Polishing and finishing stainless steel to a high standard
- Using handheld tools and machinery to achieve required finishes
- Ensuring all work meets high quality standard
- Ensuring work flow is efficient and fabrication schedules are adhered to
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience polishing stainless steel in a fabrication or metalwork environment
- Strong experience with finishing techniques (graining, linishing, mirror polishing)
- Good attention to detail and ability to deliver high-end finishes
- Experience dressing welds and prepping fabricated components
- Experience working on bespoke or one-off projects
- Site experience or installation knowledge

- Mon - Fri 08:00 - 18:00

- ME9 8QG Sittingbourne, Kent
- This is a temporary project based role based in our studio in Sittingbourne, Kent
- Our studio is only accessible by car

SALARY
- £15 - £18 per hour depending on experience

Both a design & a fabrication studio - we fabricate all of our stages, structures and installations in-house, here in our studio in the UK. Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
