Full job description

Location: Barrow On Trent

Pay: competitive - to be discussed at interview

Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join our busy engineering team based in Burton upon Trent. This is a hands on role that involves both workshop based and on site fabrication and welding, with a strong focus on heavy structural and plant work, including overhead cranes and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication and welding of heavy structural components
Working on overhead crane systems and associated steelwork
Site work as required, alongside workshop based tasks
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Ensuring work is completed to high safety and quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator / Plater, ideally in heavy engineering
Strong MIG welding skills - other welding processes a bonus
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Comfortable working at height or on site - training will be provided
A proactive, reliable and safety conscious work attitude
